My name is Veronica DeBorde, and I am the proud owner and artist behind Boards by DeBorde.

I grew up on Tybee Island's North Beach in Georgia and have since lived in various places before settling in Savannah with my husband, Jeff. I have the joy of being a mother to two sons, a daughter, and two granddaughters.

My passion lies in utilizing my artistic skills to craft custom pieces for clients, friends, and family. I find great satisfaction in designing a piece, adapting it to meet the client's unique requirements, and then skillfully etching it onto the wood surface.

My journey as an artist began unexpectedly when I found a discarded wooden wine box and decided to experiment with it. What began as a simple experiment soon turned into a full-blown passion for crafting one-of-a-kind gifts for various occasions. I have had the honor of receiving commissions from all across the United States for personalized wedding gifts, birthday presents, graduation mementos, housewarming gestures, and many more.

I never anticipated that my love for this hobby would evolve into a thriving small business, but I am elated to be doing something I enjoy so much. There is nothing quite as fulfilling as taking a plain wooden board and transforming it into a unique piece of art.
